Why RFPA Meetings, Catch-Ups and Social Events are important

Staying socially connected is one of the strongest protective factors for memory and cognitive health as we age. While some people remain sharp well into their 80s and 90s, others begin noticing changes earlier — and that’s completely normal. Memory affects everyone differently, and simple habits like writing important dates and reminders in a diary or journal can make day‑to‑day life much easier.

To support our Members and Associates, the RFPA has prepared a new resource explaining why staying connected helps protect memory, especially for those with a shared policing background. You can download the PDF below as part of our ongoing commitment to wellbeing and healthy ageing.
