RFPA NSW Private Facebook Group

The RFPA now has an active Facebook Group with over 1200 Members as of the end of December 2022.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1660649007639653/

The group is open to RFPA members and others who served in the NSW police force, or have some connection to the RFPA or the NSW Police Force. And yes, we also encourage family members of RFPA Members to apply to join the Group and even Members of other Emergency Services. Just let us know your connection when you answer the joining Question.

THE GROUP IS NOT THE FACEBOOK GROUP OF POLICE ASSOCIATION OF NSW BUT IS THE SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLET FOR THE RETIRED & FORMER POLICE ASSOCIATION OF NSW Inc.

To maintain the integrity and relevancy of the Group, those applying to join the RFPA Facebook Group are asked to answer a simple Question and to agree to the Group Rules (be polite, no politics, no bullying, no profanity etc). No personal information is requested (other than Reg. No.) and any information supplied is not seen by anyone other then the Group Admins.

Members and Admins of the Group can post information of interest to Members of the RFPA including upcoming Class reunions, Branch activities, significant events etc. There will be no ‘blue’ jokes or other insensitive material allowed.

When applying for membership of the Group, please respond to the Question and Agree to the Group Rules or your application to join may be denied. (If you are a Member of the Group and invite a friend to join, please remind them to answer the Question & Agree to the Group Rules. It’s for our protection folks, to ensure we only approve genuine people.)

Here is the application to Join Question… “Are you a Member of the RFPA? (Retired & Former Police Association). If YES please advise Branch – If NOT please provide Reg. No. & where served and/or any info to support your application. THIS IS NOT THE POLICE ASSOCIATION Group.”

Here are the Group Rules…

The Group Admins are… Dave Whiteman, Steve Turner and Beth Docksey
