Often when an RFPA member passes away, there is confusion for Branch members and the family of the deceased member, as to what to do next. Who to contact… what can the RFPA do… how can they get a service history… can they have an honour guard… who is responsible for advising the various bodies and, what assistance is available?
These Grief & Bereavement Protocols have been prepared by the Northern Beaches RFPA Branch, Grief and Bereavement Officer, to assist branches in what to do when a member passes away. It outlines the role of the RFPA and the role of the Deceased Family.
