For all RFPA members who are financial on the 29th July 2024 at the RFPA AGM, here are the details of the Reef Retreat in Palm Cove prize which will be drawn at the AGM and the winner announced at the meeting.

One lucky RFPA member will win a 7-nights holiday for two at the Reef Retreat, Palm Cove, to be used by the end of May 2025. Accommodation, airport transfers from Cairns airport and car hire for six days are included.

Remember, ONLY members of the RFPA who are financial at the time of the draw on 29thJuly 2024 will be eligible to win.

The winner will receive a Seven Night Stay Package, including Airport Transfers & 6-day Car Hire for 2 people at The Reef Retreat in Palm Cove. The winners will have to get themselves to Cairns airport at their own expense.

Your hosts, Jim and Joanne, who are also members of the Brisbane and Northern Suburbs branch of the RFPA, will arrange some tourist activities at cost to the winner, and that represents a further saving as they know of the best activities and have commercial contacts with many of the attraction operators.

“Lynne Reeves, my Class 169 friend, won the competition run by the RFPA NSW. We both left our husbands at home and have thoroughly enjoyed our week away at The Reef Retreat in Palm Cove. A big thank you to our wonderful hosts Jim and Joanne for a fantastic and relaxing holiday. Our self-contained apartment was perfect and only a short walk to shops and restaurants on the beach front. Jim provided us with lots of information about tours and attractions in the region with pick-ups from the front door. The prize also included a hire car for the week which was also provided by Jim and Joanne. We highly recommend The Reef Retreat Palm Cove and can’t wait to return.”
