Funeral Service for Jim Loble
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share details of the funeral service held for James (Jim) Lawton Noble on Thursday, 29 January 2026, at Allambie Memorial Park in the Parkview Chapel.
Olive and James Cavanaugh, along with Dorne Langdon and Wendy Cooley, attended the service on behalf of the Tweed/Gold Coast RFPA Branch. While it would have been lovely to see more members present, I understand that many are currently dealing with health challenges, and I extend my best wishes for their swift recovery.
Jim Noble, as he was known throughout his Police Service, served in General Duties, the Safety Bureau, Plainclothes, and later across the State with the Stock Squad.
A large gathering of family and friends attended the service, each speaking warmly of his deep devotion to his family and grandchildren.
