Good Afternoon,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am writing to tell you about 3 of this year\u2019s anniversary events.
1.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Musical ride at Sydney Royal Easter Show
2.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Highway Patrol Open day at Huntingwood
3.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 100 Year Anniversary Dinner – tickets are for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musical Ride<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This  year the Mounted Police, Police Band, and Highway Patrol will each  celebrate significant milestones in their histories: the Mounted Unit  will mark 200 years, the Police Band will recognise 130 years, and the  Traffic and Highway Patrol will commemorate 100 years of road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight  skilled Traffic Response Group cyclists will perform alongside 16  mounted police officers in the musical ride at Sydney Showground (Engie  Stadium) on four dates in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As  a unique, one-time treat, the HWP cars have been invited to participate  in this year\u2019s historic ride to mark this special occasion. During the  musical ride, a collection of 10 vehicles, ranging from the late 1970s  to modern HWP cars, will be showcased on the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dates and times of the performances are as follows:
Saturday 12th April (5:35 \u2013 6pm)
Wednesday 16th April (6:25-7pm) **
Friday 18th April (5:20 \u2013 5:55pm)
Monday 21st April (5:05 \u2013 5:50pm)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**On  the 16th April there is VIP seating available in the Royal Stand with  Retired Mounted Unit Officers  – Please RSVP to  hwphistory@police.nsw.gov.au<\/a>   if you would like to watch the show from  the Royal Stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HWP Anniversary Open Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are holding a Retired & Former Police 100-year Anniversary HWP Open Day here at Huntingwood on the 20th May 2025. The day will run from 10 \u2013 2pm and parking information will be emailed to you closer to the date.
Please RSVP to the\u00a0hwphistory@police.nsw.gov.au<\/a>\u00a0if you would like to attend this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

100 Year Anniversary Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We  also want to remind you that tickets for the 100 Years of Road Safety  Dinner are available for purchase, and early bird pricing is valid until  the end of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
