The Macarthur Branch attended the Sydney International Airport recently. After a stringent security check, we boarded a bus for a tour of the perimeter of the Airport culminating in an experience of standing at the end of the 4.7- kilometre Runway whilst large Passenger Planes passed over head. It was unbelievable as to the quietness of the planes as they flew over us as compared to the expectation of the loud noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday 10th December, Ron and I officially handed over the KanMed Baby Bed Warmer System to Dr Catherine Allgood and Nurse Unit Manager Fiona Kite at the Neonatal Department of Campbelltown Hospital, who expressed their thanks and gratitude for the much needed equipment.

The Macarthur RFPA Christmas Luncheon was held at Club Menangle on 12 December, with over 40 members in attendance.
Prior to the commencement of the festivities, Ian Baloglow was presented with his OBE by John Carroll.
A great day was had by all, enjoying the company of friends, reminiscing and cherishing the moment to make the day, memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Macarthur RFPA Branch held their annual AGM and October Meeting at West Leagues Club, Leumeah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chairman, Ron Reuben welcomed all and encapsulated the year’s activities including the Charity Golf Day where we again raised over $18,000 towards the purchase of a KenMed Baby Bed Warmer System for the Campbelltown Hospital Neo Natal Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Macarthur RFPA Branch, August Meeting a major Sponsor Gerald Kenneally of Kenneally\u2019s Funeral was presented with his Certificate of Appreciation.
Gerald has been a long term Sponsor of the Branch and continues to be an active supporter of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
