{"id":35,"date":"2019-09-24T00:47:05","date_gmt":"2019-09-24T00:47:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.retiredpolice.com.au\/?page_id=35"},"modified":"2024-08-13T16:49:51","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T06:49:51","slug":"rfpa-membership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.retiredpolice.com.au\/?page_id=35","title":{"rendered":"RFPA Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The RFPA has two Membership Types :-<br><br>* <strong>Full Member<\/strong> &#8211; Any person who was a member of the NSW Police Force and had a Registered Number and left the NSW Police Force in good standing, regardless of the length of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* <strong>Associate Membership<\/strong> is available to:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any widow, widower, spouse, or partner of a Full Member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any former police officer of any recognised Police Force other than NSW, who has retired or resigned after honourable and ethical service, and any widow, widower, spouse, or partner of same.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any former unsworn officer, spouse, or partner of same, previously employed by any recognised Police Force whether paid or as a volunteer who has retired or resigned after honourable and ethical service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any other suitable person nominated by two Full Members for approval by the Committee who, due to their former employment and\/or beneficial interaction with a recognised Police Force or the Association, with verifiable links to the NSW police force or any RFPA NSW Branch, may be granted Associate Membership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Membership Fees are $28.00 per annum for both Full Members and Associate Members and our <strong>Membership year is from 1st July to 30th June<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If paying by automatic deduction arranged through the Police Bank, another Bank or Financial Institution or State Super pension, the fee is $26.00 per annum due to lower administration costs as the RFPA has a Police Bank Account for all membership fees.
