I take this opportunity to thank the various branches of the
RPA Welfare Officers throughout the State and Qld for their
assistance and ongoing support with respect to our many members
welfare. Some of our members have various issues requiring
support, advice and illnesses affecting their health and
Without the support of the various Welfare Officers,
things could be more difficult and it is always good to know
someone is there should you need them.
We are fast approaching the festive season with Christmas on
the doorstep. Many of us are far more fortunate with our health
and wellbeing than some of our mates and members. I encourage
those who are more fortunate to ensure that they give a little
time to those who are not. A phone call, a visit, offer some
assistance, if sought, goes along way to helping our members who
are not as fortunate in time of illness. A little help is much

best and a speedy recovery to those not so fortunate. Again I
ask you to not be afraid to make contact with me if you are
aware of any members who are not so fortunate and their health
is not the best.
