Retired Police Association of NSW Inc. official Tie
As mentioned in our yearly
State Secretary's Report; the RPA
Tie
is available at the cost of $20.00
which includes reasonable postage and handling. (NB:
Only a limited number were produced). Once stock on hand is sold a decision will be
made. if further production is warranted. Depending on
the the number required by members the cost of the tie might vary and no doubt increase.
The tie has the base shade of
blue, similar to the former constable / senior constable blue with
the diagonal stripes across it in dark blue, red, green and white
similar to the former sergeant, inspector, superintendent and
commissioners colours.
I know many members of the RPA
no longer wear a tie in the normal course of retired life but there
are occasions such as formal dinners and functions, Police
Remembrance day, funerals of former and serving Police and reunions
where the display of a uniformity of presence and solidarity of our
special group is viewed by others with envy and seen by the
relatives of former Police as a show of sincere support to them as a
family.
Any orders for the tie may be
made to any of the RPA branch secretaries listed on the front page
of this gazette which will ensure speedy delivery or be forwarded to
the State Secretary, PO Box 354, Wingham NSW 2429 with a cheque or
money order for $20.
