        NEW ENGLAND:
On Friday the 2nd March, a small band of New England members travelled to Tenterfield, to meet up with members of the Southern Downs & Granite Belt Brach of the Qld RPA for our annual combined branch meetings and lunch.

Our meeting was held at the Tenterfield Golf Club under pleasant skies for the tablelands. Members accompanied by their wives and partners who attended were, Ian & Linda Ramma, Laurie Bell and Bruce
Thomas from Tenterfield, Laurie & Marion Smith from Warialda, Monica O’Mara from Warwick, Peter Trow from Glen Innes and Greg & Maree Chie, Lee Evans and Monty Ehsman from Inverell.

Apologies were received from George & Robyn McGilvray, Eric Morgan, Brian Bowman, Geoff Parker, Harry & Ellie Browne, David Petrie, Ian & Tonia Mason, Barry Hinton, Bill Hooke, Charlie & Marie Auld, Kaye Ehsman, Bruce Jackson.

Some members of our New England branch maintain membership in the Southern Down & Granite Belt Branch, due to the years members worked and were also sworn into the Queensland Police. The combined meetings is an opportunity to catch up with past friendships made over the years. At the conclusion of our separate meetings, all members attended the annual day enjoyed the lunch that followed.

The New England Branch meets quarterly, with the next branch meeting at the Glen Innes Service Club.
